An active member of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), Mr. Bemis is also a 2006 inductee into the Plastics Hall of Fame. He's served as Chairman of the National Plastics Center and Museum Board of Governors, and served on the Board of Directors of the Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI) and of the Midwest Section, Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI). He has also been an active member of the General Electric Quality Council, and of the Harley-Davidson Supplier Advisory Council.
