Recreational Vehicles
As you read this, are we in another energy crunch? Have
we just got over one? If neither of these, then we must be
heading into one, right? If you design campers, conversion
vehicles, or motor homes, no one has to tell you what it has
been like the past couple of years. If you haven't yet looked
to plastics as a source of help, perhaps you should.
Our patented co-injection process has reduced the total
cost and total weight of many components used in other
areas of the transportation and motor vehicle industries.
Adding our Foam Core technology to large parts has further
reduced the product weight and in many cases improved
the physical characteristics of components when compared
to similar products that are mono-injection molded, SMC, or painted steel. And because these parts are co-injected,
only the core is foamed while the outside can be a Class
A molded-in-color surface. These technologies free your
Design Engineers. No longer do they have to confine
themselves to a specific, often high priced, "do everything"
engineering grade materials. Form, fit, and functional
requirements can be met using a combination of less
expensive alternatives selected from the literally thousands
of plastic resin products available. Thinner walled products
can be designed to use our licensed MuCell® microcellular
technology in either extruded or molded products. Are
you familiar with continuous glass reinforced profile
extrusions? They are as strong as aluminum and typically
no more expensive. Yet they do not corrode, discolor, dent,
or require costly chemical treatments or painting. These
profiles can even be strategically insert molded to give
injection molded parts even more strength in key areas.
Knowing the issues facing the Recreational Vehicle industry
is important. Using our plastics technologies, we'd like to
help you do something even more important...successfully
address them. Why not give us a call before you begin your
next project?
We're here to help.
