Large Appliance
When we began producing components for the large appliance
industry nearly a decade ago, our knowledge of plastic and it's processing
immediately impacted the costs of component parts to our OEM. The savings
generated accounted for nearly all of the 5% cost reduction their management had
required. Since then, through invention, new applications and design, and a
unique process we've labeled Teardowns, the savings have continued to grow, as
has our presence in your industry.
By focusing in on only a few industry segments, we are able to keep abreast of
the trends, issues, and progress in this ever-changing business. And with a solid
growth rate of over 40% in the past ten years, we plan on remaining a well-informed
source for design ideas, knowledge of plastics, and unique processing capabilities.
Some of our latest projects include vision system guided, robotically handled, insert
molded freezer components. Our co-injected foamed-core friendly-touch one-piece
refrigerator handles have set a design standard in the industry. Clear acrylic
over-molded and in-mold assembled crisper doors have provided the solution where
visibility, durability, and low cost were a must.
Yet much of our available technology has yet to be explored. Applications
using our multi-layer or multi-component adjacent profile extrusions have yet to
be developed. Want soft-touch? Just tell us where. Our microcellular and
foamed core technologies can and do assist in the industry goals of noise
reduction. Want the strength of aluminum without the corrosion and thermal
transmission? Our continuous glass profile extrusions have it and these parts
can be insert molded in strategic stress areas of any part without having to
resort to higher cost engineering grade materials. Are the possibilities
endless? We think so, and they start with your ideas. Let's talk about them.
We're here to help.
